I like my school, but I wish it was a more diverse environment. There aren’t many minorities and getting clubs that highlight minorities and their excellence are difficult to create or even be apart of. I have had really great teachers so far and I think that if more students were to take their classes seriously then they would also find that they are enjoyable. My favorite subjects so far have always been math, orchestra and Japanese. I love that there are wide variety of classes available and at different levels. The worst about school is the people. Students have made extremely poor, ridiculous, and stupid decisions that have jeopardized the safety of others or put everyone in an uncomfortable position. I also do not like our “sweep” policy. I think that it is pointless to make students come to class late just to leave again and miss even more of their lessons just to get a pass, a piece of paper that will be recycled when I could just be marked tardy, whether it’s excused or not.

I think that Gilbert Public Schools has lots of pros and cons to their schooling systems. Some of the places in the school are generally unsanitary and trashed. It is hard to take care of schools nowadays due to the way some kids are raised and behaving now. Some teachers are great, while others care very little about the students and the value of their education.

Great school district full of many choices to help you find the right fit for your child. Plenty of resources to help guide you to where you want to go. Safe, clean, helpful schools. Had my child go through all the schools from kindergarten to public high school. I attended school from kindergarten through public high school had a wonderful experience that is why I had my son go through the schools. Very impressed would do it again and recommend for anyone.
