Thursday, May 23

York Young Professionals will hold an “Adulting Series” session with Mosaic on Thursday, May 23 from 12-1 p.m. at the York Chamber. The group will discover the services Mosaic offers to the community and gain valuable insights into their mission and impact. Members can enjoy a complimentary lunch while non-members can participate for just $10.

The YCDC Traveling Office will be in Bradshaw on Thursday, May 23 from 1:15-3 p.m. People interested in visiting about community and business growth are invited to stop by.

The York Rotary Club will meet at noon on Thursday, May 23 at Chances R in York.

Progressive Agriculture Safety Day will be held on Thursday, May 23 from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Fillmore County Fairgrounds in Geneva. A fun-filled day for children currently in grades 1 through 6. Learning demonstrations and activities include topics such as seatbelt safety with the roll-over trailer, electrical safety, animal safety, food safety, hearing safety, heathy lifestyles, ATV safety, underground utilities, and railroad safety. All ages are welcome to Lego Night at the Geneva Public Library on Thursday, May 23 from 5-7 p.m. Over 10,000 Lego and Duplo bricks and pieces are available to build with. Creations are displayed in the library for one week, and posted online.

Friday, May 24

The Exeter Fire Department will host a Fiesta Friday on Friday, May 24 at the Twisted Wrench Bar. Hard and soft tacos, chips & cheese nachos will be served from 5 p.m. until gone. Come out and enjoy some great Mexican food and stay and listen to the band and catch up with all of the alumni members back in town. The event is a fundraiser for a new ambulance. A free will offering will be taken.

Pitch and Rummikub will be played at the York Senior Center on Friday, May 24 starting at 1 p.m.

Saturday, May 25

The Gresham Library’s Annual Fun Run/Walk and Open House will be held on Saturday, May 25 starting at 9 a.m. at 230 Ella Street in Gresham. Come visit, enjoy refreshments and check out upcoming events at the library. Free-will donations encouraged with all proceeds going to the Gresham Library Fund. The Gresham High School Alumni Banquet will be held on Saturday, May 25, at the Gresham Community Center. Social hour will begin at 6 p.m. with the meal served at 6:30 p.m. Cost of the banquet is $22 per person. Tickets can be purchased by May 17 at York State Bank, Gresham Branch or by mail from Wendy Wait, 140 22nd Rd, Ulysses, NE 68669.

Kilgore Memorial Library will hold Lego Club at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 25. Elementary aged and older kids can free build with Legos. The library has many sets they can build or loose Legos are available for them to come up with their own design.

May 25 — 27

The Gresham Fireman’s Picnic will be held on Saturday, May 25 through Monday, May 27. Saturday activities will include a horseshoe tournament, Gresham Public Library Fun Run, tractor drive, Gresham High School Alumni Banquet. Sunday activities will be a community church service, car & tractor show, pickleball tournament, kid’s bounce house, Chapter’s bookmobile, pie social, kiddie pedal pull, cornhole tournament, parade, Fireman’s windsor loin barbeque, food trucks, and live music by MoJo Filter. Monday there will be a Memorial Day Service at Cedar Lawn Cemetery at 9 a.m. and a pancake breakfast immediately following at the Gresham Community Center.

Sunday, May 26

The 2024 Bradshaw Alumni Reunion honoring classes 1994, 1984, 1974, 1964, 1954, 1949 and all before will be held on Sunday, May 26 at the Bradshaw Community Center. Doors open and social hour (BYOB) will be held from 5-6 p.m. (ice and cups provided). A dinner of roast beef and fried chicken with sides, catered by JWs Catering of York, will be served at 6 p.m. The cost is $17 per person, donations appreciated. Please RSVP by May 11, 2024 (the caterer needs a firm count to order food). No walk-ins please. Make checks payable to the Bradshaw Alumni Association and mail them to Trish (Gordan) Collister, P.O. A dedication ceremony of the newly renovated Sloan Bolton Post 68, American Legion Veterans Memorial Park will be held on Sunday, May 26 from 1-7 p.m. in Geneva. After the dedication ceremony, the public is encouraged to move to the Paul W. Curtiss Memorial Band Stand in the City Park for music and a program by the Angel Force USA Band, a Quilts of Valor presentation, and more. Be sure to bring your own lawn chair.

Monday, May 27

The Gresham Community Club will be selling salvage items from the old school building such as desks, doors, chalk boards, and wood trim. These items can be viewed in the gym on Monday morning, May 27, during the Memorial Day pancake feed.

The Waco Community Betterment Organization will have a Memorial Day Breakfast on Monday, May 27 from 8-11 a.m. at the Waco Community Building, located at 105 Strickler Street. Scrambled eggs with ham, toast, orange juice and coffee will be supplied by the CBO. Anyone wishing to donate a dozen rolls, a dozen muffins or a coffee cake to the Memorial Day Breakfast is asked to have their donation at the Community Building early on the morning of the breakfast. Volunteer are needed for set up, serving and clean up. Youth volunteers are also needed to help serve refills and clear plates. Volunteers can sign up by contacting Kiley Heiden-Tomjack at 402.805.5765.

The York Morning Sertoma Club will meet at 7 a.m. on Monday, May 27 at Wendy’s in York.

Exercise Class will be held at the York Senior Center on Monday, May 27 from 10:30-11:15 a.m.

American Legion Post #164, together with its Legion Auxiliary and Sons of American Legion, will conduct Memorial Day services on Monday, May 27, at the following: 5:30 p.m. — 50 Flags Veterans Memorial; 6 p.m. — Stockholm Swedish Cemetery; 6:30 p.m. — St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery; 7 p.m. — Zion Lutheran Cemetery; 7:30 p.m. — Shickley Cemetery. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Henderson Memorial Day services will be held Monday, May 27, 2024, as follows: 9 a.m. Friesen Cemetery; 10 a.m. Bethesda Mennonite Church Cemetery; 11 a.m. Mennonite Cemetery. Please note, no glass containers or gravel please. Flowers and other arrangements may be left at the cemetery for 10 days following Memorial Day. Any items left after June 6, 2024, will be disposed of. In the event of inclement weather, services will be cancelled.

Tuesday, May 28

Heartland FFA members will take their Top Golf Rewards Trip on Tuesday, May 28 starting at 8:30 a.m.

The York Senior Center will hold their Works in Progress on Tuesday, May 28 from 9:30–11 a.m.

Pitch will be played at the York Senior Center on Tuesday, May 28 starting at 1 p.m.

The City of York will hold a second open house in the trail planning process on Tuesday, May 28 from 5-6 p.m. at the Holthus Convention Center. Proposed trail maps will be available for comment. The open house will be the public release of the maps. After the open house, copies will be made available in other formats. If you need transportation assistance, please contact York Public Transportation at 402.362.7626. Maps will be provided on the city website after the open house and comments will be accepted through June 11, 2024. This is the second open house in the trail planning process.

May 28-31

Wessels Living History Farm will host Youth Classes which mix 1920s farm fun with today! Sprouts Classes are open to children in grades 3-5 and will meet Tuesday, May 28 through Friday, May 31 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. each day. May classes will be involved in planting and early summer farm activities. Sessions include time with the animals, learning about taking care of our environment, experiencing life on the farm, attending a rural schoolhouse, scavenger hunts and more! Learn some Nebraska history by doing! Participants receive a Wessels t-shirt, one family pass to visit the farm and samples of their work will be on display at the York County Fair Aug. 1-4. Please dress to play outside and remember your sunscreen.

Wednesday, May 29

The York Noon Sertoma Club will meet at noon on Wednesday, May 29 at Chances R in York.

The annual Seward Fourth of July Celebration Kick-Off Party will be held Wednesday, May 29 at 7 p.m. at the Nebraska National Guard Museum in Seward! At the party there will be the announcement and crowning of Miss Independence and Mr. Firecracker and Runner-Ups, announcing the 2024 Parade Grand Marshall-recipient of the “Nebraskan’s Friend Award” and announcement of the 2024 “Seward County Community Service Award.” The event is free, open to the public and will offer free “Fourth of July” hotdogs and “Celebration” cake! Thursday, May 30 The York Young Professionals are bringing back the York Summer Games in 2024, but with a twist! Embark on an epic summer series of games and competition. Sign up as a team of 4–10 participants. Or, sign up as an individual looking for an awesome team to be a part of. All participants in the Yorklympics will be invited to all events, not all teammates are required to be present at all events. Substitutions are not allowed. Participants must be 19 or older. The participating fee is $50 per participant and includes participation in all events through the summer. The Opening Ceremonies will be held on Thursday, May 30 from 5-7 p.m. at Blended Distilling, 1420 Road N in York. Get ready to kick off the competition by getting to know your teams and fellow competitors. We will be handing out team t-shirts and important information to ensure you’re all set for the event. Young Professionals will also be available to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to come and go as you please and let’s make this event a memorable one!

The York Area Senior Center will sponsor the Chadron Polka Band at the York City Auditorium on Friday, May 31.

Get ready to dance the night away at the Polka Extravaganza on Friday May 31 at 6 p.m. at the York City Auditorium for a night filled with lively music and energetic polka dancing. Kriz and the Polkatoons will be opening the event then Chardon Polka Band will be sharing their unique brand of Polka music. Blended Distillery will be serving beer and moonshine. There will be food served in the North Dining Room. This is a 21+ event. ID’s will be checked at the door. Tickets will be sold online April 1st at Eventbrite. You can also get your tickets at the York Area Senior Center Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets will be $20 ($25 at the door). There will be additional charges for food and drink. Get your dancing shoes ready and come join us for a night you won’t forget!

Kick off the summer with a pool party just for middle schoolers! Celebrate graduating 8th grade, getting ready to go to 6th grade in the fall and all others in between. The pool is open just for you! Sixth through eighth graders are welcome to come to the York Family Aquatic Center on Friday, May 31 from 8-10 p.m.

The annual Seward Rotary Club’s “Celebration of Service” Dinner\Gala will be held on Saturday, June 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Harvest Hall on the Seward County Fairgrounds. The event celebrates the 99th Anniversary of the Seward Rotary Club and recognizes and honors Virginia Hughes with the Rotary Club “Service Above Self” Award and Nan McCoy as the recipient of the Seward Rotary Club’s “Wayne Tanderup” Award. The annual dinner features a cash bar, live music, a dinner by Rue 6, silent auction and featured speaker — Dr. Chris Kratochvil — Vice Chancellor for External Relations, University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Proceeds from the event will go to help fund Seward’s Teammates Program, Rotary International “Polio Plus” Campaign, the Rotary Annual Fund and the Seward Rotary’s ongoing community and youth program and projects! Do you have what it takes to brave the unknown? You’ll get to try different activities and challenges to test your courage. Who will be crowned the champion at York Parks & Rec’s Fear (& Fun) Factor Summer Camp? Camp takes place on June 3–7 from 1-5 p.m. Open to kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade and activities will be safe for all campers. Meet at the York Auditorium on Monday, Tuesday through Thursday we’ll be at East Hill Park and on Friday at the York Family Aquatic Center.

York Parks & Rec’s Water Babies program is for children 6 months to 4 years of age and their parents. It will build swimming readiness by emphasizing fun and safety in the water. Swim diapers must be used unless potty trained. Two class times are available, so please indicate which class you would prefer on the registration form. Water Babies will take place Monday through Friday June 3-7 from 6-6:30 p.m. or from 6:30-7 p.m. at the York Family Aquatic Center.

Do you know that there are turkeys in bowling? Do you know how many frames you bowl in a game? Join York Parks & Rec as we partner with Sunset Bowl to learn everything you need to become a master bowler during Pin Chasers Monday, June 3 through Thursday, June 6 from 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. Open to kids in grades K through 8. York Parks & Rec will be offering public swim lessons in three sessions. All sessions will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Class sizes are limited & first come, first serve. For any questions and registration information, contact the Community Center until the Family Aquatic Center is open. Session 1 will be held June 3–14. Beginner: 11–11:30 a.m. (2 classes); Primary: 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; Secondary: 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; Advanced: 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Float 4 Life is a class designed for young kids to learn how to survival float if they were to ever fall into water when no one else is around. Our trained staff will teach every child how to self-rescue. Session 1 will be held June 3-14 from 12:15–12:30 p.m.; 2:50–3 p.m. or 5:50-6 p.m. at the York Family Aquatic Center. Open to infants, toddlers, kids and anyone who wants to learn.

Tuesday, June 4

Yorklympics 2024 Strike Night Spectacular will be held on Tuesday, June 4 from 7-9 p.m. at Sunset Bowl, 1923 N. Lincoln Ave. in York for team bowling! Gather your team and join us for an exciting evening of friendly competition on the lanes. Teams must have a minimum of four members to participate in this event, so rally your team for a night of strikes and spares. Don’t miss out on the chance to showcase your bowling skills and enjoy a night of camaraderie with your team. See you at Sunset Bowl!

Henderson will kick off their Farmer’s Market season on Tuesday, June 4 in the Henderson Downtown Park from 5-7 p.m. Join in for a showing of the movie “The Girl Who Believed in Miracles” and take a hayrack ride.

This is a family-friendly event, so bring your significant other and the kids! Young Professionals will provide the meat and fixings, please bring a side/dessert to share.

York Parks & Rec is holding a Cornhole Tournament on Friday, June 7 so grab a partner and get signed up! This is a 21+ event, BYOB, and IDs will be checked at the door. Bring the family for a fun start to the weekend during York Parks & Rec’s Chalk the Walk on Saturday, June 8! Each family will get a square on the sidewalk to create a masterpiece with chalk (chalk provided by YPR). You’ll get one hour to draw as a family and then we will let the public vote! Chalk the Walk will be held from 9-10 a.m. in front of the York Community Center.

June 10-11

Build your best Lego creation at home and show it off at the Community Center during York Parks & Rec’s Lego Showdown. Drop off your masterpiece from June 10-11 anytime between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. and then the public will get to vote for their favorites from June 12-16. Voters will bring their own quarters to vote for their favorites and the winners will get their quarters! All ages welcome for creating and voting.

June 10-13

York Parks & Rec’s Ready, Set, Rally is a tennis league that teaches the fundamentals of tennis at a pace where the kids will develop a passion for the game. It makes tennis extra fun with the use of age-appropriate racquets, balls, and court size. Everything is slowed down and sized down, which makes the game easier and exciting for the kids to learn! Kids ages 6-10 will meet Monday through Thursday, June 10-13 from 9–10:30 a.m. at the York High School Tennis Courts.

June 10-14

We live in Nebraska, so we know that we can experience summer, winter, fall and spring all in one day. Let’s see if we can sample all four seasons during York Parks & Rec’s 4-Season Sampler camp June 10–14. Campers in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade will meet daily from 1-5 p.m. Meet at the York Auditorium on Monday, Harrison Park on Tuesday through Thursday and the York Family Aquatic Center on Friday.

Tuesday, June 11

The York County Farm Bureau and York County Extension proudly present Progressive Agriculture Safety Day on Tuesday, June 11 from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the York County Fairgrounds in York. Ag Safety Day is a fun-filled day of learning for youth ages 5-14. Topics for demonstration and discussions include, but are not limited to: Electrical Safety, Grain Safety, Sun Safety, Drug Safety, Equipment Safety, Water Safety and more. The registration fee is $5. This safety day includes lunch, snacks a t-shirt and a take-home “goody” bag. Register with the York County Extension office. Yorklympics 2024 York Quest Scavenger Hunt will be held on Sunday, June 16 from 3-6 p.m. This challenge will begin at the York Chamber Office, 603 N. Lincoln in York for a Downtown Scavenger Hunt! Join us for a scavenger hunt in downtown York. Teams need a minimum of two members for this event, but we encourage all members to join in for a fun-filled adventure of teamwork and discovery. Pick up your first clue between 3-4 p.m. Navigate through the downtown, solving challenging riddles and completing tasks to emerge victorious in this quest. Are you up for the challenge?

What a great way to spend time with Dad on his special day at the Family Aquatic Center. Dad will get in FREE with a child on Sunday, June 16 from 1-4:50 p.m.

Monday, June 17

Join York Parks & Rec and the 4-H Extension office as we team up for a fun-filled week of learning all about archery during Archery Camp Monday, June 17 through Thursday, June 20 from 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. We will start with the basics and introduce safety topics before participants get to shoot. Then, we will wrap up the week at Recharge Lake’s Upper Big Blue Outdoor Archery Range. Bows and arrows will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you have them. Open to kids ages 8-13 years old. Meet at the Cornerstone Event Center at the York County Fairgrounds on Monday through Wednesday and at the Upper Big Blue Outdoor Archery Range on Thursday. See you all out on the range!

June 17-21

Let’s roll the dice to see if this week will be a winner for you. Will you be able to Guess Who, escape the Mouse Trap or be the first to Connect 4 at York Parks & Rec’s Beyond the Board Games camp June 17-21. Campers in grades Kindergarten through 5th Grade will meet from 1-5 p.m. at the York City Auditorium on Monday, East Hill Park on Tuesday through Thursday and at the York Family Aquatic Center on Friday.

The monthly July 4 meeting will be held on Thursday, June 20 at 7 p.m. at the Nebraska National Guard Museum to meet one more time to finalize the details for the 2024 Seward Fourth of July Celebration! The meeting will hear committee reports and review the day’s agenda! This will be the final meeting of the general celebration committee before the celebration day! The celebration will be held on July 4 — all day — throughout the community! Parents, can’t find a babysitter? Kids, do you enjoy pool parties, pizza, and playing with friends? Now everybody wins with Parents Night Out! Join York Parks & Rec on Friday, June 21 from 5-8 p.m. at the York Family Aquatic Center. Open to kids age 5 years old through the 5th Grade.

Come to the York Family Aquatic Center for a midnight swim on Friday, June 21 from 10 p.m. until 12 a.m. Swim under the stars, play water games in the dark, and enjoy the perfect summer night. Open to everyone.

Saturday, June 22

Kilgore Memorial Library will hold Lego Club at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 22. Elementary aged and older kids can free build with Legos. The library has many sets they can build or loose Legos are available for them to come up with their own design.

Let your creative mind paint during York Parks & Rec’s Art in the Park on Saturday, June 22 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Come enjoy an art class in the park taught by Angie Schroetlin while she walks you through your painting step-by-step. Everything will be provided, so all you have to do is show up at East Hill Park in York.

June 24 — 27

Parents, give yourselves a break and your child a little play time during Tot Time on Monday, June 24 through Thursday, June 27 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. The session will include fun activities that allow your child to create, develop, exercise, interact, and have fun! Open to kids ages 3 to 5 years old at the Community Center.

June 24 — 28

Put on your armor, grab your turkey leg and come save the kingdom! There will be jousting, catapulting and foes to battle during York Parks & Rec’s Renaissance Retreat camp June 24–28. Campers in grades Kindergarten through 5th Grade will meet from 1-5 p.m. at the York City Auditorium on Monday, Harrison Park on Tuesday through Thursday and at the York Family Aquatic Center on Friday.

Yorklympics 2024 Frisbee Frenzy Disc Golf will be held on Thursday, June 27 at 6 p.m. at Mincks Park, 2222 E. 14th Street in York and will be a disc golf competition. This event requires a minimum of two players per team. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, this is the perfect opportunity to test your skills and enjoy the great outdoors. Participants are welcome to bring their own Frisbees or use the ones provided by us Don’t miss out on an evening of friendly competition on the course. See you on the fairways!

Saturday, June 29

York Adopt A Pet will be holding their 9th annual Run/Walk Fur Luv on Saturday, June 29 at the YAAP shelter (1511 North Platte Ave). There will be a 1-mile walk walk/run starting at 8 a.m. and then a 5k run starting at 8:30 a.m. Medals will be given for both races. For the 1-mile walk a 1st place medal will be given for boys and girls in ages 8-14 and ages 7 and under. Then for the 5k, 1st and 2nd place medals will be given for each age division. There will be some new activities during the event for both you and your pet to enjoy!

Let’s follow the tracks to lead us through this week full of animals. From their habitats to how they move, their diets, let’s discover it all during York Parks & Rec’s Animal Planet Camp July 8-12. Campers in grades Kindergarten through 5th Grade will meet from 1-5 p.m. at the York City Auditorium on Monday, East Hill Park on Tuesday through Thursday and the York Family Aquatic Center on Friday.

July 8 — 19

York Parks & Rec will be offering public swim lessons in three sessions. All sessions will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Class sizes are limited & first come, first serve. For any questions and registration information, contact the Community Center until the Family Aquatic Center is open. Session 3 will be held July 8 — 19 Beginner: 11–11:30 a.m.; Primary: 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. (2 classes); Secondary: 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; Advanced: 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; Professional: 11–11:30 a.m.

Yorklympics 2024 River Rumble Canoe Battleship Bonanza will be held on Friday, July 12 starting at 8 p.m. The York Aquatic Center, 2222 E. 14th Street in York, is the place to be for Canoe Battleship. Gear up for an aquatic battle as teams face off in a unique and exciting canoe battleship competition. Grab your paddles and strategize with your teammates to sink your opponents’ canoes while defending your own. Are you read to conquer the waves and claim victory in the ultimate canoe battleship showdown? Let the battle begin!

The Duke Boys Basketball Team will host the 2nd Annual York Basketball Golf Scramble on Friday, July 12 starting at 9 a.m. at the York Country Club. The cost is $400 per team. Lunch will be provided and there will be Flag Prizes. Proceeds go toward player’s gear, paying for team camps, summer league, taking players on a fun team trip, equipment, and tickets to a Husker Basketball game every season. Join York Parks & Rec as we dive into the world of forensic science during The Great Forensic Escape Camp July 15—19! Youth will learn how science is used to solve mysteries, how all items in our world are made, and how we can use materials we learned to make our great escape (room)! We will explore realms from DNA, fingerprints, secret messaging, and more! Campers in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade will meet from 1-5 p.m. at the York City Auditorium on Monday, the York County Fairgrounds on Tuesday through Thursday and at the York Family Aquatic Center on Friday.

July 16-19

Wessels Living History Farm will host Youth Classes which mix 1920s farm fun with today! Tillers Classes are open to children in grades K-2 and will meet Tuesday, July 16 through Friday, July 19 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. each day. July classes will be doing some garden maintenance and harvesting. Sessions include time with the animals, learning about taking care of our environment, experiencing life on the farm, attending a rural schoolhouse, scavenger hunts and more! Learn some Nebraska history by doing! Participants receive a Wessels t-shirt, one family pass to visit the farm and samples of their work will be on display at the York County Fair Aug. 1-4. Please dress to play outside and remember your sunscreen.

Let’s light the torch and bring Paris to York for this week full of Olympic competitions during York Parks & Rec’s The Quest for Gold Camp July 22–26. We will train and compete like the Olympians to see who will bring home the gold! Yorklympics 2024 Putt for Glory Mini Golf Madness will be held on Monday, July 29 starting at 6 p.m. Meet at the York Country Club, 1016 W. Elm in York for our Mini Golf event. Join us for a delightful round of mini golf at the Country Club, where challenging holes await. Gather at least two teammates for a competitive game on the beautiful course. Putt your way through twists and turns, navigate obstacles and aim for that hole-in-one. Tee off with us for a memorable mini golf experience!

Yorklympics 2024 Sprint to Success Upside-down Track Meet will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10 starting at 8 a.m. at the York High School track, 1005 Duke Drive. Get ready for a hilarious twist on the classic track meet events. You may want your entire team for this day, but a minimum of five is all that is necessary. Join us for a day of unconventional challenges as we put a spin on traditional track and field competitions. Expect unexpected obstacles, quirky rules and plenty of surprises that will keep you on your toes throughout the event!

Yorklympics 2024 Mind Masters Trivia Challenge Extravaganza will be held on Monday, Aug. 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chances R Beer Garden, 124 W. 5th Street for Trivia Night. This event will be an evening of brainteasing questions and a variety of themed rounds. This event can be your entire team but requires at least two members. Put your heads together and engage in a battle of wits as you tackle a variety of trivia categories. Get ready to show off your smarts and have a blast at our Trivia Night in the Beer Garden!

Yorklympics 2024 Closing Ceremony will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. at the Elks Club, 121 W. 6th Street in York. Celebrate the end of a fantastic summer competition series with a social hour at the Elks Club. Bring a snack to share and enjoy some time mingling with all the teams. It’s a great opportunity to unwind, share stories and make lasting memories with fellow participants. During the Closing Ceremonies we will award top team medals. Don’t miss the highlight of the evening, the presentation of the coveted traveling trophy to the winning team.
