@Xfinity That’s what needs to be fixed. I get that modem resets will fix a lot of issues, but issues where the system doesn’t recognize that your account has an internet service activated requires something different.Please fix your system to allow for other internet troubleshooting.

@ZBudych Yes, but I keep it off the hook. It was my mom's. She passed on. But if I discontinue service Comcast will charge more because they want to push their package deals.

Looks like I will not get to do a birthday stream unfortunately since there is still not ETA from @Xfinity on when the tech will be out to do the line replacement to fix my stability issues. I apologize for not being able to streaming during all this time.

@wookietim I get peaco*ck for free because I'm a comcast customer. I'd never pay for it. It is THE WORST streaming platform by a mile. The user interface is terrible. Slow, not intuitive, can't easily get you back to shows you're watching. Just crappy.

Random thought: I think Apple eventually joins forces with Netflix. Popular content keeps getting pulled from Netflix as the likes of Disney, Viacom, Comcast expand streaming platforms. Netflix was never meant to fend for itself, relying heavily on original content.

@xchatty @comcastbusiness Because that’s a likely failure point. I had Comcast bandwidth problems once because, when the house was repainted, the sandblasting penetrated the coaxial shield. Result: packets damaged and then dropped, and TCP interprets packet loss as congestion and slows down transmission.
